Pravahkriti - Period Positivity
Pravahkriti is a social cause taken up by the students of Amity International School Noida, which aims to promote better menstrual health and hygiene management among females of various ages, across all sections of society. We aim to promote period positivity and raise awareness amongst not only women, but also men.

Donation Drive
at Noida Stadium
Team Pravahkriti conducted a sanitary pad donation drive in school. We collected more than 1,000 pads which were donated to the underprivileged at the Silpotsav Festival in Noida Stadium.
Govt. School Visit
to Sarvodaya Kanya Vidyalaya
Team Pravahkriti visited Sarvodaya Kanya Vidyalaya, a govt. school in Sarita Vihar, New Delhi. We distributed 350 period kits to the students and educated them about menstrual hygiene through fun activities such as 'stapoo', or hopscotch.
Nukkad Natak
at Gardens Galleria, Noida
Team Pravahkriti performed a 'Nukkad Natak' in order to draw the attention of the masses towards our cause.
Pad Dispensers
at Amity International School, Noida
Team Pravahkriti installed sanitary pad dispensers in every girls' washroom in AIS Noida, as well as 10 other locations, including govt. schools and hospitals.
Why are girls in some parts of the world still missing school because of their menstrual cycles, or made to feel that a woman’s menstruation and sexuality are unacceptable?
I feel the work you are doing is absolutely fantastic; it’s like nothing I’ve seen before. I haven’t seen so many boys participate in anything to do with Menstrual Hygiene Management anywhere. It’s fantastic to see it. Kudos to you guys!
It’s amazing to see you (Team Pravahkriti) standing up for what is right and taking on this cause despite what people tell you, at such a young age. Keep up the work you’re doing!
I think the younger generation should know what normal physiological changes are happening in their body. Even a middle-aged woman should know what a normal menstruation pattern is and whenever she notices any change, she should consult a doctor. I feel that your initiative to spread this awareness is very nice and I would say all the best to you, youngsters! May you go achieve greater heights.
